What kind of a future would you like to build with the help of the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programmes?
Welcome to this year’s Erasmus+ impact seminar taking place on Wednesday 13 November 2024 at 9:00–17:00 in Helsinki. At the seminar, entitled Tulevaisuuden osallistuvaa Eurooppaa rakentamassa, you will get to discuss the role of the Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps programmes in building a participatory and active Europe.
The main theme of the impact seminar is active citizenship. The seminar will feature parallel sessions, in which we will explore participation in society and democracy education, common values, civic engagement and ways of improving the impact of the programme.
The seminar is aimed at representatives of early childhood education and care, general education, vocational education and training, higher education, adult education, youth and sport and physical activity sector organisations.
The event venue is Paasitorni in Helsinki. The seminar consists primarily of on-site workshops so that we can really engage in discussion with each other, meet others working on EU projects and network. Only the keynote lecture will be streamed online.
The seminar will be held in Finnish. We will provide interpretation in Swedish and Finnish Sign Language to those who need it. Paasitorni is an accessible venue. The Finnish National Agency for Education will provide participants with breakfast, lunch, and afternoon coffee. The event is free of charge, but participants are required to cover their own travel expenses.
