The Erasmus+ National Agencies of Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, and Finland, in collaboration with the National Erasmus+ Offices (NEOs) in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, and Egypt (TBC), invite you to a joint webinar.

Join us to explore opportunities for academic cooperation and Erasmus+ funding between Nordic higher Education institutions and higher education institutions in the South Mediterranean region, with a particular focus on North Africa.

Who is it for?

Academic and administrative staff in Nordic higher education institutions (HEIs) who work with internationalisation and international cooperation and are interested in strengthening collaboration with partners in North Africa.

What to expect?

Cooperation with the South Mediterranean region is a priority within the European Union. The new Pact for the Mediterranean highlights the importance of educational cooperation between the region and EU countries and underlines the key role of higher education and the contribution that Erasmus+ can make to regional development. Interest in strengthening cooperation with South Mediterranean partners is growing across the Nordic countries, and there is considerable potential to expand collaboration between the two regions, particularly with North African countries.The webinar will provide an overview of the higher education landscape in North Africa and highlight opportunities for strengthening cooperation and developing new partnerships.
