The orientation training organized by the Finnish National Agency for Education’s international higher education cooperation team aims to help participants understand their own role as part of international education collaboration, provide opportunities to network with other newcomers, and introduce EDUFI's programme offerings and colleagues.

The training is free of charge and welcomes not only new staff members at higher education institutions who have joined international activities in the past few years, but also colleagues who have recently transitioned into new roles related to internationalisation.

The training consists of two sessions:

• Friday 5 December 2025, 10:00–15:00: first session held online
• Friday 12 December 2025, 10:00–15:00: in-person session at the Finnish National Agency for Education’s premises in Helsinki, address: Hakaniemenranta 6 / Hakaniemenkatu 2 (accessible entrance for persons with reduced mobility via Hakaniemenkatu)

Please register by 30 November 2025. When registering, you may also indicate any topics or themes related to internationalisation in higher education that you would like to learn about or hear more about during the training.

A detailed programme will be sent to registered participants closer to the events. By completing the registration form, you will automatically be signed up for both training days. The event will be held in Finnish, but you are welcome to participate in discussions or ask questions in Swedish or English.
